Need Motivation To Lose WeightWe all know that adding physical activity and exercise to our schedules will bring us much closer to reaching our fitness and health goals. So, why do we put it off and make excuses? Whether we can’t find the time or won’t muster up the energy, it’s just difficult to force ourselves to change habits and develop a routine.

Well, believe it or not, we’ve found that it’s actually easier to alter your lifestyle to fit your exercise plan versus trying to add exercise to your existing schedule. That’s right, instead of trying to force yourself, live your life in a way that makes exercising a natural thing. A longer and healthier life is certainly worth it, wouldn’t you say? You can find tips for both personal fitness and healthy eating in YOU: Losing Weight by Dr. Oz. In case you feel that you still need motivation to lose weight and keep it off, here are a couple ways to mold your routine and stay motivated:

  • Your exercise plan needs to involve doing something that you enjoy. It doesn’t have to be punishment in order for it to be successful. Choose something that will keep your attention or try many different activities if necessary. The goal is to find something that you will want to do.
  • Exercise at home if you like. It certainly saves time. Exercise where you are most comfortable. What’s important is that you do it, not where you do it. Fancy equipment or a workout room aren’t required either. Weights, a balance ball, and a mat do just fine. An exercise bike is a plus as well.

Whatever you do, try to make exercise fun. This is the key to getting started and sticking with it.
